Professional profile

Molecular biologist (Ph.D.) and data analyst with nearly two decades of experience in biotech and biopharma research, now focused on using data to understand the world and how it can be used to drive change and develop solutions to real-world challenges.

Throughout my career, I have developed a strong analytical mindset and hands-on expertise in data analysis, alongside wet-lab technical skills such as genetic engineering and high-throughput screenings. During this time, I have also gained experience in experimental design, data visualisation, and communication, tailoring my speech to different audiences.

Curious by nature, I enjoy learning, solving problems, and exploring new challenges, especially when it comes to using data to understand and develop solutions for real-world challenges. As a team player, I thrive in multidisciplinary and dynamic environments, which I see as a great opportunity for both personal and professional growth.

Currently transitioning into data analytics, I am looking for opportunities to use data to uncover insights and support decision-making that leads to practical solutions.

Me

My former colleagues define me as an outgoing person with good sense of humour, flexible, and with great interpersonal skills. I am curious, with passion for learning new things, and always with an optimistic view of life.

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, dancing (I love Cuban salsa), playing chess, going for a bike ride, running, swimming, and watching sports in general.
